Too many of us hold our physical, mental and emotional pain and discomfort within our bodies, where it slows energy, manifests as tension and can have a damaging impact on our health.
Whether you have an injury (or are recovering from one), are training for a sports event, are expecting (or just had) a baby, experience aches and pains from postural habits, keep having these stubborn old recurring niggles, can’t seem to muster energy, or simply just want to relax and give back to yourself ... Project Body is here to help you.
With a foundation in manual and movement therapy, we work towards long term benefits, to bring you and your body back into balance. As a Remedial Massage Therapist and Certified Myofascial Release Therapist my focus, interest and passion lies in Myofascial Release Therapy. Along with manual bodywork, I combine and blend various forms of movement; Pilates, Yoga and Self-Myofascial Release. Together we will find tools and ways for you to create your own practice that fits you and serves the projects of your body.
I want to be able to move well for as long as I am alive; to get up and down from the floor; I want to be able to play until I’m 99, and help others to do the same by offering tools to find what is helpful for each individual.
That is my goal, my motivation, my mission.
